Carbon Laser Peel – Laser for acne

The Carbon Laser Peel has a number of uses, including reducing pore size, renewing the skin, evening out your skin tone, and improving its radiance. A layer of carbon will be spread over the area (with acne) that requires laser treatment. After some time, the carbon will be absorbed into your skin, melding with the unwanted debris inside. A laser will then be used over the area. The laser will vacuum up the carbon particles, taking the debris with it. The removal of this debris will open up your pores as well as stimulate collagen growth and remove dead cells. This exfoliation process will, over time, rejuvenate the area and leave you with clean pores and smooth skin. The laser instantly unclogs pores and reduces acne. Each laser treatment takes only five to ten minutes and can be repeated every two or three weeks. There is no downtime to this laser treatment; once it’s over, you can simply walk out and go about your day as usual.

Isotretinoin is a prescription medicine used to treat severe acne. This oral medication is highly effective and causes the majority of clients who use it to experience permanently clear skin after a single treatment. The treatment does take between four to five months on average. Due to the strength of this medication, you will be required to converse with one of our dermatologists concerning its usage and dosage. Once confirmed, the dermatologist will prescribe the amount you require in intervals. The medication will clear out all forms of acne over the treatment period until all of it, including any debris underneath the skin’s surface, is completely gone. We urge you to avoid purchasing this medication online or anywhere without a prescription as unwarranted usage can cause severe side effects. You will be supervised carefully during the treatment period. Our staff are professionals which eliminate any potential harm to you and allows you to be fully calm throughout your treatment.

On a side note, isotretinoin can also be combined with non-ablative lasers treatments for acne for more favourable results.

Laser for Acne Scars

There are a number of treatments that help to alleviate acne scarring on your skin.  Some of the more common methods are steroid injections and chemical peels. Fractional Co2 Laser is also a great laser treatment for acne scars. Another method is called the Laser Facial method. This is a non-invasive treatment designed to rejuvenate and brighten dull skin as well as liven it up with increased laxity. Treatments vary depending on the client’s condition, but they always take between ten to fifteen minutes to complete. A mask will be applied for hydration as well as some sun block. There is no downtime after this treatment, allowing you to go about your day, now without scars.

Besides lasers for acne scars, one can also consider INTRAcel Micro-needling which uses fractional micro-needles to delivery Radio Frequency heat energy into the dermis. After heat energy causes some controlled damaged to the applied area, the body immediately triggers a repair response. As such collagen and elastin are stimulated to rebuild and renew the area. One can expect thicker, tighter and rejuvenated skin after the treatment.

These are just a few of the many popular and highly successful treatment methods available here at Gangnam Laser Clinic. Do you require treatment for something? Make an appointment for your first $48 laser facial trial today.
